The Sewer Museum invites you to come on a remarkable journey. Delve into the history of a hidden part of the city, following the evolution of the river Senne and walk along the river underground for a few tens of metres. Plunge into the atmosphere of a real sewer collector. Learn all about sewer construction and renovation and the difficult work of sewer workers, not forgetting the city’s water cycle. A unique living museum!

The first Sunday of the month
On the first Sunday of every month, the museum opens its doors for free. To guide you through the collections, the museum also offers free guided tours. There is a discovery guide for the kids and we also offer a fun audio guide.

- Admission and the tour are free of charge
- Guided tour in French at 2 p.m. and 3.30 p.m., in Dutch at 2.45 p.m.
- Booking for the tour is required as places are limited. To book, click here.
- On the first Sunday of the month, online reservations for museum admission are not possible. We welcome you subject to availability.
